I was really pleased to receive your postcard. It sounds like you had a great time in Spain. Anyway, you will never believe what happened to me last weekend. I was going to Anne's party when it started to rain. As I was waiting at the bus stop a car was driving (или возьми drove) past me at full speed. Before I knew it, I was soaking wet. I felt miserable - the people at the bus stop were laughing and I looked a mess. It was very embarrasing. Why do these things always happen to me?

Я шла на вечеринку к Энн, когда начался дождь. Пока я ждала на автобусной остановке, какой-то автомобиль пронесся мимо меня на полной скорости. Прежде чем я поняла это, я была мокрая. Я чувствовала себя несчастной - люди на автобусной остановке смеялись, а я выглядела как кусок грязи. Было очень неловко. Почему эти вещи всегда происходят со мной?

I will never forget my first visit to the theatre, won't I?
Did my mother take me to the Bolshoi theatre to see "The Sleeping Beauty"?
We took the underground there, as the Bolshoi Theatre is in the centre of Moscow, didn't we?
What could we see when we arrived at the theatre?
What did my mother buy one for us?
They where not expensive but we could see the stage very well, couldn't we?
When did the curtain rise.

The scenery was fantastic, wasn't it?
Did I like the ballet very much.
