Every person needs a friend. Friendship is very important in our life. We cannot live without friends. A friend is a person who is always by your side, whom you can trust with everything no matter what happens. Your true friend is always ready to help you, to support you and if you do something wrong, and to solve problems together with you. However, does a life-long friendship is really exists?

On the one hand, I think “ A friend in need is a friend indeed ” It is really so. A friend respects your decisions and is sympathetic to you. A true friend is very trustful and reliable. What can I say about my best friend? We have known each other for six years already. He is very serious, independent and hard-working. I respect him for his strong will, intellect. He always manages to be cheerful and energetic. I appreciate our friendship.

On the other hand, there is no real friendship and “false” friends. They can deceive and betray. This is not a true friendship. These people just use a good attitude. Do not trust them. However, how do you know if someone is a really friend?

To sum up, I want to say different people have different opinions on friends and friendship. For me it is a person who stands by me till the end, who cares, shares, sticks around. I think that the long friendship exists not only in books and films, sincere friendships do exist in real life.
