1. At the Office
It's nine o'clock. Jane is at the office now. She's just in time for an important meeting. Besides, she always gets a lot of letters, but she can't read all of them — some letters need to be translated.
2. At the Lesson
At our English lesson we usually write down new words, then we read and translate texts with these words. Most pupils in our class can read really well. I like reading but I don't like writing. I want to learn to speak English fluently, so I work hard and I can say that I'm doing well inEnglish.
3. In the Evening
Nina is going to spend this evening at home. Her teacher told her to get an English book and do a few tasks. So she's going to do her homework. She must revise her vocabulary and translate unknown words. Tomorrow Nina will speak about the book with her friends.
4. My Son
My son is seven but he is already learning English. He knows a lot of English words and phrases. He can read simple stories. He likes doing his homework and he's doing well in English.
