Chapter 5 tells how Winnie Pooh and Piglet tried to catch the Elephant. Winnie Pooh decided to dig a deep hole, so that Sloppot fell into it, and could not get out. He told the Pig to meet early in the morning. Piglet agreed and let Winnie Pooh home. Late at night, Winnie Pooh could not fall asleep, he was hungry. Winnie Pooh remembered that he left honey in a deep pit to catch the Elephant. He went after the honey, but when he put his head in the pot, he got stuck. The piglet woke up and went to visit the trap for Slonopotam. But when he looked into the pit, he thought that Winnie Pooh was an Elephant, got scared and ran away screaming to Christopher Robin. Christopher Robin became interested and went to visit the Elephant. But when he looked at her, he laughed, because it was Winnie Pooh
