Ukrainian cuisine is very interesting and unique. It has ancient roots and appealing story. Let's take a closer look to all these unusual dishes!

The most popular ukrainian snack is "сало". These are little pieces of solid pork fat, which are usually eaten with fresh garlic. The next most popular dish is "вареники". Actually, it can also be a dessert! "Вареники" are dumplings with different filling, from meat and veggies to berries and cottage cheese. Since we're talking about dough, I should mention another dish, "галушки". It is made of dough, which was boiled in hot water. You can eat it with butter or sour cream, or even make a soup out of it!

You must be very thirsty after all that yummy food. What about beverages?

Traditional ukrainian drinks are usually made from milk. The most popular are "ряжанка", "кисляк" and "пряжене молоко".
