3 For five years I  studied mechanical engineering at the Belarusian Russian University ( Past Simple).4 I graduated in 2014 with honours ( Past Simple). Up until a month ago I was working in one of Mogilev companies. Last month I decided to apply for a job in one of the engineering companies in Minsk (Past Simple). I was lucky to be accepted and now I am looking forward to my new job ( Present Continuous). I have just moved to Minsk ( Present Perfect). I have never worked and lived in Minsk before, but I have a few friends here ( Present Perfect). We have known each other since we were at university so the move shouldn't be too difficult ( Present Perfect).

1. Lenya lived in the village of Lukino. When the Nazis arrived, the boy went to the partisans.

He went to intelligence, brought important information to the partisan detachment. Lena led one with the fascist general. Lenya knocked out an enemy car. A general rode in the car with important documents. Finally, killed him. He fought along with the adults. He died near the village of Ostray Luka in 1943.

 2 April , 1944, a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR was published on conferring the title of Hero of the Soviet Union on pioneer partisan Lena Golikov.

2. Zina was in the occupied territory and began serving in the partisan detachment named after K.E. Voroshilov. She was a member of the underground organization Young Avengers.

In December 1943, Zina was captured by the Nazis. At one of the interrogations in the Gestapo, grabbing the investigator’s gun from the table, shot him and two other Nazis, tried to escape, was caught. After torture she was shot in prison.
