didn't.Если в настоящем,например You speak French мы возьмем don't во второй части предложения.Если are-aren't,aren't-are;can-can't,can't-can.
Есть еще does-doesn't,мы берем его когда глагол стоит с частичкой s-works,lives,lies.

Есть одно исключение-когда в главном приложении стоит am,то в хвостике мы берем aren't.В случае если вторая часть положительная,мы берем am:
I am late, aren’t I?
I am not busy, am  I?
