School uniform

 
Many students all over the world wear a school uniform. But is it really necessary? Some people say that wearing school uniform is good, but others do not support this point of view. 

As for me, I do not like wearing a school uniform. Firstly, the uniform is bad because of its monotony. It looks as if you were in the army, where everybody is similar to each other. Secondly, the colors of the modern school uniform are black and white. It is funeral. I feel uncomfortable in it because when I am in it I feel that somebody has died and I am at a funeral ceremony. It is awful. Thirdly, I support a free style. Everyone can express himself. You can wear comfortable, your favourite clothes. My favourite colors are bright yellow, green, and blue. I like to wear a blue or yellow T-shirt.

But there is another point of view. Some people say that students should wear a school uniform, and it disciplines. They think that wearing a school uniform helps students not to annoy each other. Without special uniform students, especially girls, will try to wear the best, the lightest, and the strangest clothes which are not common or not allowed at school. And, of course, students can better concentrate on work if they wear uniform.

I do not agree with these people. I think that without school uniform student’s life will be a little bit brighter. Nowadays studying takes a lot of time, and people become angrier and rougher. So wearing bright clothes helps to make our life more alive.

In conclusion, I would like to stress that I am for a free style. Clothes express our feelings and behavior. Tastes differ. And everyone can have his own opinion.
 

Многие студенты во всем мире носят школьную форму. Но действительно ли это необходимо? Некоторые люди говорят, что ношение школьной формы это хорошо, но другие не поддерживают эту точку зрения.

Что касается меня, я не люблю носить школьную форму. Во-первых, форма плоха из-за своей монотонности. Это выглядит как если бы вы были в армии, где каждый похож друг на друга. Во-вторых, цвета современной школьной формы черный и белый. Это траурно. Я чувствую себя некомфортно в ней, потому что, когда я в ней, я чувствую, что кто-то умер, и я на церемонии похорон. Это ужасно. В-третьих, я поддерживаю свободный стиль. Каждый может выразить себя. Вы можете носить удобную, Вашу любимую одежду. Мои любимые цвета ярко-желтый, зеленый и синий. Мне нравится носить синюю или желтую футболку.

Но есть и другая точка зрения. Некоторые люди говорят, что студенты должны носить школьную форму, это дисциплинирует. Они думают, что ношение школьной формы студентам не раздражать друг друга. Без специальной формы студенты, особенно девочки, будет пытаться носить самую лучшую, самую легкую, и самую странную одежду, которая не являются обычной или не разрешена в школе. И, конечно же, студенты могут лучше сконцентрироваться на работе, если они носят униформу.

Я не согласен с этими людьми. Я думаю, что без школьной формы жизнь студента будет немного ярче. В настоящее время учеба занимает много времени, и люди становятся злее и грубее. Так носить яркую одежду сделать нашу жизнь живее.

В заключение мне хотелось бы подчеркнуть, что я за свободный стиль. Одежда выражает наши чувства и настроение. О вкусах не спорят. И каждый может иметь свое собственное мнение.

Easter is one of the most important Christian holidays. The exact date of the holiday changes from year to year but it usually falls on April. Preparation for Easter starts seven weeks before the actual holiday. It’s called the advent of Lent. Many Christian people don’t eat meat and animal products during this period. The week before Easter is quite busy because people start thoroughly preparing for the holiday. The traditions of Easter celebration vary from country to country. For example, in our country the Sunday before Easter is called a Willow Sunday. On this day people bring home some willow branches which have been blessed in church. Thursday before Easter is called Clean Thursday. Traditionally people should bathe before sunrise on this day. Houses and flats should be cleaned too. There is also a Good Friday. It’s the day when women bake Easter bread called “paska” or “paskha”. On Saturday children dye Easter eggs, which are called “pysankas”. In the evening people go to church for the Easter mass, which lasts all night. Sunday is the actual day of Easter. People visit each other on this day and exchange colourful “pysankas”. In English-speaking countries the official symbol of this holiday is Easter bunny. Children are especially fond of this day because they get lots of chocolate and fluffy bunnies as a present.
