The most famous three large pyramids are located near Giza. They are the pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mikerina. The largest of them, the pyramid of Cheops, was built in the 28th century BC. Its height is 147 meters. Each side of the square foot of the pyramid is 233 meters.  All in all archaeologists have counted 80 pyramids. Not all of them have survived to this day.
