the pyramid complex at giza is guarded by the sphinx carved from limestone. it has the head of a man and the body of a lion. the bottom part of the monument is buried under the sands.
since childhood i have been interested in egyptian buildings, including the pyramid of cheops! for me it is very informative and interesting!
Отпуск / Отдых
В голове моей напевно звучит мысль: "Лето, лето, скоро лето!". Скоро мы поедем отдыхать. Но есть одно затруднение - и день ото дня проблема эта становится все серьезнее: мы еще не знаем, куда отправимся!
Мама больше всего любит отдых за городом: там она может почитать и насладиться покоем. Папа думает, что спокойный отдых - это скучно. Он предпочел бы рыбачить на побережье. Мой брат - за парусный спорт, но моя сестра терпеть его не может. Она считает, что плавание - например, в бассейне, - куда "круче" (гораздо лучше). А я... ой, а мне все равно: я буду счастлив(а) везде!
