college, he became a swimming pool salesman, and worked as an inventor
in his spare time. Many of his inventions were designed to help disabled
people.
In 1993, he saw a programme on television about Africa. The programme
said that radio was very useful for people living there, but, unfortunately,
many people could not afford electricity or batteries for radios. Trevor found a
solution to this problem by inventing a radio that worked by a clockwork. You
just wind a handle and that provides the power for the radio.
Trevor's clockwork radio was shown on a science programme on the British
television called Tomorrow's World'. A South African businessman and an
accountant heard about Trevor's invention and set up a company to make
clockwork radios. They employed disabled people in their factory. Although
it wasn't very high-tech, the clockwork radio was a great success. Trevor
received several awards for his invention, including one from the Queen.​

Then he disappeared into the bushes, and we returned home.

Many times we have seen around our house running fox. Sometimes we had played together, and I fed him. So our family is not left in the lurch a little fox.

На 2 уроке мы говорили про родину учились делать синквейн. На 3 уроке я узнала что в школе не всегда все так просто, мы там учились английскому языку. Учитель раздал слова которые надо было выучить. Вот и кончился первый день знаний. Я очень рада что я учусь именно в этой школе.

My first day at school was like this: I came to school on September 1. I met my new classmates. And then my first lesson started. At the first lesson, the teacher told where the offices are located: doctors, teachers, etc. During recess, we all played outside together and had a lot of fun. Then came the 2nd lesson. In lesson 2, we talked about our homeland and learned how to make cinquain. In the 3rd lesson, I learned that school is not always so simple, we learned English there. The teacher handed out the words that had to be learned. That's the end of the first day of knowledge. I am very glad that I am studying at this school.
