School uniform is one of my school responsibilities. It is one of the most strict rules we have and serves a purpose of promoting unity, equality and friendship. However, i find the opposite and less attractive effects of this school tradition. I believe that we learn and grow up by making personal decisions and deciding what to wear is one of them. Our personal style and understanding of what we like and what we don't make us who we are. School years are the ones that we have to create our identity and develop the knowledge and taste in clothing. School uniform does not allow students to be creative and the idea of it is not to make us equal but to make us a part of a crowd, not to make as unified but to create a 'general person' out of individual and to make him confirm to the general standards. Maybe school uniform is actually a reason why we have more layers and not painters, finance managers and not musicians.
