The Olympic Games is an international sports festival that began in ancient Greece. Originally,
the Olympic Games were held every four years for several centuries
until they were completed in 1896, and subsequently they are organized
every four years, except for the time when they were World War I and
World War II . Perhaps
the main difference between the ancient and modern Olympic Games is
that for the ancient Greeks the games were way recoil honor their gods ,
while, as the modern Games are a way to honor the impact athletic
talent
of people of all nations. Originally, the Olympic Games also included
competitions in music, oratory and theatrical performances. Modern
Olympic Games do not have them, but they are much more sports than ever
before. For two and a half weeks, all international conflicts should be
stopped and replaced with a friendly competition . This noble idea,
which is based on the modern Olympic movement .
The earliest record
of the Olympics back to 776 BC, but historians think that the game
started long before then. The ancient Games were held in honor of Zeus,
the most important god of the ancient Greeks. According
to the earliest records, only one sporting event was held at the
ancient Olympics - foot race of about 183 meters, or the length of the
stadium.
Only men were allowed to watch the games . At the Olympics, the 18th
century has included the fight and the pentathlon. Games winners highly
praised and honored for their results . In 349 BC. e . Games were
officially completed by the Roman emperor Theodosius, who felt that they
had a pagan significance.
Pierre de Coubertin, a young French nobleman who had the idea to bring the Olympic Games to life. With
the help of the people who supported him, he managed to organize the
first modern Olympic Games in 1896 . Baron de Coubertin had planned to
hold the Olympic Games in France, but the representatives of nine
countries that supported his idea, and decided that Greece was the
right
place to host the first Olympic games . The nine countries were
Belgium, England, France, Greece, Italy, Russia, Spain, Sweden and the
United States . They agreed that every four years the Olympic Games will
move to other big cities in the world .

Athens Games in 1896
were a success. Athlets from thirteen countries competed in nine sports.
The second Olympiad was held in France in 1900 . 2004 Summer Olympics
were held in Athens, Greece, and took 201 countries . USA took first
place. And Russia 3rd place.

My favorite Board game is monopoly.

In 1934, at the height of the great depression, Charles Darrow of Germantown, Pennsylvania, showed representatives of the Parker brothers company a draft of the Monopoly game.

This is a group game where a group of friends can pass the evening with pleasure. The game is very gambling and exciting, so regardless of the result of the game, players return to it again and again.

This game introduces the basics of Economics. After getting acquainted with this game, I began to think about economic problems. Sometimes I find myself being drawn to articles in magazines by words from this game: stocks, concerns, etc.I found it interesting to read about someone else's experience of economic UPS and downs, such as Theodore Dreiser's "Financier". We can confidently say that this game teaches you to think logically no worse than mathematical problems. Thanks to this game practice, my ability to plan has increased, and I have a need for forecasting. No wonder this game has become so popular all over the world. It has been played for many decades. It is re-issued, modified, while maintaining its essence. The game "Monopoly" can be considered international. Friends told me how on vacation they played it with their foreign peers, having almost no points of language understanding. I know that there are special clubs that combine older players. Even, in my opinion, there are tournaments for skill and luck. When I get older, I plan to join such a community. This game promotes consideration of further economic education.

I can safely recommend this game to anyone who has not tried it yet. I'm sure it will not leave anyone indifferent!

I really loved the book Eragon because it's  such an exciting story, and the characters  are really  imaginative, there are  monsters, dragons and lots of strange  animals.

The main character, Eragon, finds a dragon's  egg and later becomes a dragon rider. Some  parts of the story are quite scary because Eragon leaves his home and is  followed by the king's servants, who want  to kill him. There is never a dull moment as Eragon is chased, caught, and  then escapes!

This book is very appealing. I would  recommend it to people who like fantasy  stories and who like to laugh - some parts  are really quite  funny!
