а)Sydney has a population of 4,400,000 It is Australia’s largest and oldest city, and it is built on hills surrounding Sydney Harbour – an inlet of the Tasman Sea on Australia's south-east coast. The site of the first British colony in Australia, Sydney was established in 1788 at Sydney Cove by Arthur Phillip.

Bondi Beach features many popular cafes, restaurants and hotels, some with spectacular views of the beach and surrounding headlands. The beach itself is approximately one kilometre long.

е)The natural harbour of Sydney is known for its spectacular natural beauty, and in particular as the location of the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. The Sydney Opera House is one of the most distinctive and famous 20th century buildings, and one of the most famous performing arts venues in the world. Designed in the 1950s by a young Danish architect Joern Utzon, it is supposed to look like sails in the wind. It took 16 years to build.
Ж)Sydney is very exciting, diverse and multicultural. It boasts a dynamic scene of musical, theatrical, visual and other artistic activity. Sydney hosts many different festivals and some of Australia's largest social and cultural events. These include the Sydney Festival, Australia's largest arts festival which is a celebration involving both indoor and free outdoor performances throughout January. It is also one of the world's top fashion cities.
