Rollover Accident
Oh, no! Tom was driving along the 55 Main Road in Costa Mesa when his car rolled over. He was driving too fast
around a curve in the freeway, and his car went off the road and rolled over. Luckily, no one was hurt. Tom is
okay, but he is upset. The roof of his car is damaged and the left door is broken. His wife does not like to drive
with him. It is dangerous! Tom called the police on his cell phone, and they are on the way. He didn't want to call
to police. He also called his insurance company and his wife. His wife wants him to go to the hospital for a
medical examination. Tom thinks he's okay, and he doesn't want to go to the hospital. He wants to go home.

UK public administration Over half a million men and women  are employed in the huge number of offices.

The employees are not changed with governments, but serve ministers from any political parties in power.

There are different grades in the Civil Service.

The lowest grade is composed of the clerks and typists who deal with letters, or prepare the information required for their seniors or of members of the public.

In charge of them in the next, higher rank, are the men and women in the Executive Grade.

Their duty is to carry out the details of legislation.

The highest grade of all represents the Administrative Grade composed of the chief officials who advise the Minister in charge of a department and  decide how laws will be implemented.   

 

 

At last the winter holidays came! I was very happy!   I didn't have  to get up early in the morning and run to school. I could stay in the bed till midday. But I didn't want to sleep. There were a lot of things to do. The weather was fine so my friends and I went to the skating- rink almost every day. It was fun! Then I spent a week in the country where my grandfather and grandmother lived. It was great. I drank milk and eat a lot of tasty food which my granny prepared for me. I have many friends in this village because I go there every holidays. We went to the forest to ski, we made snowmen and played snowballs. We even played hockey! But the winter holidays were over and I returned to the city again.  I liked my holidays very much
