Many countries have a network of railways to help transport different types of products. The earliest system was in Ancient Greece in 600 BC. Later rail links were built to connect short distances. In the 19th century, this changed very much. Many countries developed their own network. They had private links between different towns with Germany and Britain. Britain had the best links. These links allowed carrying heavy goods such as coal, iron, ore, and wood. Building a railway was a hard work for labourers. Railways are very expensive to construct but important to transport raw materials and such goods as textiles quickly and cheaply. In the early 19th century, the first passengers travelled on the railways with horse-drawn carriages. From 1840-1850 Britain was connected by railways and used steam engine to pull carriages. 1 Why is it necessary to have a network of railways?
2. When and where was the first railway system?
3.Where were the best rail links?
4. How did the first passengers travel on the railways?
5. When did Britain begin to use steam engine?

Правило

Когда мы видим слово now (прямо сейчас), сразу знаем, что это present continuous. Строим его так:

1. Положительное предложение

I + am+глагол с окончанием ing

he/she/it+ is+глагол с окончанием ing

you + are+глагол с окончанием ing

we + are+глагол с окончанием ing

they + are+глагол с окончанием ing

2. Отрицательное

I + am+not+глагол с окончанием ing

he/she/it+ is+not+глагол с окончанием ing

you + are+not+глагол с окончанием ing

we + are+not+глагол с окончанием ing

they + are+not+глагол с окончанием ing

3. Вопрос

Am + I +глагол с окончанием ing?

is+ he/she/it+ глагол с окончанием ing?

are+ you + глагол с окончанием ing?

are+we +глагол с окончанием ing?

are+they +глагол с окончанием ing?

Если в предложении говорится о том, что происходит постоянно, о правилах, о расписании и применяются слова usually(обычно), sometimes (иногда), always (всегда) и тд, то это Present Simple

Строим его так:

1. Положительное предложение

I + глагол в инфинитиве (play)

You + глагол в инфинитиве

He/she/it + глагол  в инфинитиве, НО на конце еще буква s (plays)

We/they + глагол в инфинитиве

2. Отрицательное

I + don't + глагол в инфинитиве (play)

You + don't + глагол в инфинитиве

He/she/it + doesn't + глагол  в инфинитиве (буквы s после глагола уже не надо)

We/they + don't+ глагол в инфинитиве

3. Вопрос

Do + you/we/they+ глагол в инфинитиве

Does + he/she/it + глагол в инфинитиве

Инфинитив-это начальная форма глагола
