3 Transport used to be much slower three hundred years ago.
4 They didn't use to wear jeans in the thirteenth century.
5 People didn't use to have mobile phones
6 People used to travel by train and ship before the invention of the aeroplane.
7 A long time ago people used to believe that the sun went around the earth.
8 In Britain in 1600 most children from poor famiels didn't use to go to school
9 People didn't use to drive cars in 1750
10 Before DVDs people used to watch/use VHS videos.

I am going on holiday next Monday. I would like to visit as many places as possible, for example: the Cologne Cathedral, the Bradenburg Gate, the Loreley, the Old Town, the Wartburg Castle, the Holsten Gate, the Berlin Wall and many others. Why? Simply because I love traveling and learning new things. I would like to travel with my family and see all these beautiful places. We could stay in a hotel and travel by plane and train or car. After sightseeing we can go to eat somewhere and rest on the beach.
