You can see it in the middle of the flag, too. About 3 million people of different nationalities live in the country. Donetsk is the capital of Donbass. The official language is Russian.
There are many cities, towns and villages in the DPR. The biggest cities are Donetsk, Makeyevka and Gorlovka. Donbass is a land of coal mines, metallurgical and chemical industries. You can see beautiful steppes, forests, many ponds, lakes and rivers. The Sea of Azov is in the south of the Republic.
