Wolves are wild animals. They look very much like big domestic dogs. Usually wolves are grey with long fluffy tails, their hair is long and thick. Wolves are famous for their strong sharp teeth. They have long enduring legs and big paws.

Wolves can live almost anywhere. They can be found in tundra, taiga, and steppe. There are even polar wolves.

Wolves are predators and very smart hunters. Depending on the habitat they can feed on rodents, hoofed animals, and birds. In hungry winters wolves often attack livestock and even men.

Wolves have great physical strength, endurance and agility. Moreover, they hunt in packs that’s why their attacks are extremely successful. As wolves kill weak and sick animals first they are considered to be forest medics. But because of the danger they pose to people, many species of wolves have been completely wiped out, and many are considered endangered.

A wolf is one of the favourite characters of Russian folk tales. Its strength, intelligence and charisma are praised in them.

Волки – дикие животные. Они очень похожи на больших домашних собак. Обычно волки серые, с длинными пушистыми хвостами, их шерсть длинная и густая. Волки славятся своими сильными острыми зубами. У них выносливые ноги и большие лапы.

Волки могут жить практически в любом месте. Их можно встретить в тундре, тайге и степи. Есть даже полярные волки.

Волки – хищники и очень умные охотники. В зависимости от среды обитания они могут питаться грызунами, копытными животными, птицами. В голодные зимы волки часто нападают на скот и даже людей.

Волки обладают большой физической силой, выносливостью и гибкостью. Кроме того, они охотятся стаями, поэтому их нападения чрезвычайно успешные. Так как волки убивают в первую очередь слабых и больных животных, они считаются санитарами леса. Но из-за опасности, которую они представляют для людей, многие виды волков были полностью истреблены, и многие считаются вымирающими.

Волк – один из самых излюбленных персонажей русских народных сказок. В них воспевается его сила, ум и харизма.

I think it's better to live in the city. I was born and live now in a big city and probably that's why I think like this.

But I have other thoughts. I prefer life in the city, because in the city life is more diverse and you can visit a lot of historical sights, museums, galleries, theatres, etc. You can't find these things in the countryside.

There are more opportunities for learning in the city; most  schools and universities are situated in cities, towns or near them.

In cities life is more modern; and in the country often there are no modern conveniences.

But in the country there is more free time, the environment is not as polluted as in the city and people are healthier.

But I decided for myself, that it is best to live in the city and often go to the countryside at weekend and on holidays!  

Я думаю, что все-таки лучше жить в городе. Я родилась и живу в большом городе, и, может быть, поэтому я думаю именно так.

Но у меня есть и другие мысли. Я предпочитаю жизнь в городе, потому что она более разнообразная и здесь вы можете посетить исторические достопримечательности, музеи, галереи, театры и прочее. Но этих вещей вы не найдете в деревне.

Также в городе больше возможностей для обучения. Большинство школ и университетов расположены в больших или маленьких городах, или рядом с ними.

В городах жизнь более современная, а за городом часто нет современных удобств.

Но в деревне у людей больше свободного времени, окружающая среда не так загрязнена, как в городах и люди живут здоровее.

Но сама для себя я решила так: лучше всего жить в городе и часто выезжать в деревню на праздники и выходные!
