Bicycle is a long-standing invention. Officially, it was invented in 1817 by the German professor Baron Karl von Dresen as " machine for run." His invention had no pedals, riders had to start from the ground underfoot. Blacksmith Kirkpatrick Macmillan put pedals and saddle on the bike, but his invention remains obscure.
