There are many theories on the effect of television on human being. Here are some of them. (A)The “Television makes you stupid” theory. This theory says that there are many bad programmes on television. If you watch a lot of these programmes they make you stupid and lazy. You don’t think for yourself. (B) The “Television makes you fat” theory. Some studies say that if people watch too much television they get fat. In the United Kingdom and the United States, many people think that children are fat because they watch lots of television and don’t go out to play. (C) The “Television makes you intelligent” theory. Today there are special series with names like Baby Einstein or Brainy Baby. They say that if babies sit down to watch these programmes they develop more quickly. (D) The “Television makes you frightened” theory. Every day people see crime on documentaries or the news. This theory says that this scares people. They think the world is more dangerous than it really is. (E) The “Television makes you violent” theory. This theory says that young people are violent because they see violence on television. Some people say that modern video games also make young people violent. (F) The “Television makes you ill” theory. Some people believe that if you watch television for too long, it hurts your eyes. Some people say that television gives them headache too.

It was a beautiful summer day, all pupils of our school were going to   camp.  we waited for the bus that was going to camp.  then we climbed on our seats. i lost in thought, i did not even notice that we stayed.  we were brought to the camp where was so beautiful and there was a large soccer field. girls were settled on the one side and boys on another. next morning i got up early and went out.  there were some boys playing football on the field. i went to them to watch the game. and somebody called my name. i turned around and saw an unknown handsome boy. he was tall, dark and handsome.  we began talk until the small hours. he sounded intelligent, easy going, easy to talk to, i felt like i’d known him for years. we arranged to meet the following friday night at a disco club. so that was my first meeting, i was so excited and happy. we stayed at the club all afternoon.    he said i had now met my future husband, that i would be loved and adored, all the things a girl likes to hear i guess. during the following week he came to visit me 4 times, eventually saying that he’d fallen in love with me and he even asked me to marry him! i said no, that it was too soon and that he’d have to ask me again. i was so happy with him but now we are just friends. писал не я !

Моя возлюбленная сестра я хочу рассказать о сестре. ее зовут юля. родилась в 1988 году. сейчас ей 24 года. моя сестра веселая, общительная, яркая и творческая. когда училась в нашем лицее, ей нравилось участвовать в различных конкурсах и устраивать вечеринки. она любила уроки языка и хотела посетить -говорящие страны. позже она воплотила свою идею в жизнь и уехала за границу. сейчас она живет в соединенных штатах америки. она живет во флориде и работает в торговом центре. ей нравится ее работа. у юли много друзей разных национальностей. она улучшает свое произношение. она проводит выходные, гуляя в парках, слушая музыку и навещая своих друзей. юля звонит домой два раза в месяц. ждем ее звонков. юля-настоящий друг для меня. она старается поддерживать меня в трудных ситуациях. она никогда не игнорирует мои проблемы. я всегда могу положиться на нее и попросить совета. я думаю, что скоро встречусь с ней.
