British people spend their free time in a lot of different ways. They do sport, they watch sport, they visit interesting places, and they have hobbies. Have you tried any of these?

What do you do in your free time? I like to watch television and listen to music a lot. But I do go on the Internet as well.

It  took us an hour to check all the documents they had signed the day before; 7. The secretary  looked very tired. She had  filled in all the forms and had  typed all the letters; 8. Mr. Brown  came to the hotel very tired and upset, because the counterparts  had not  reduced the prices; 9. We were very disappointed, because they had not  made payments yet; 10. He was very pleased, as they had  given us a good discount.

2. The workers' [притяжат.] hostel is within 20 minutes [мн.ч.] walk from the plant. Жилье рабочих находится в 20 минутах ходьбы от завода.
3. Local public libraries [мн.ч.] are not substitute. Местные общественные библиотеки незаменимы (тут вопрос, т.к. последнее слово как-то странно употреблено)
4. We hear the sounds [мн.ч.] of a child’s [притажат.] voice. Мы слышим звуки детского голоса.
5. She works [3 лицо, ед.ч.] much and usually gets [3 лицо, ед.ч.] many good marks [мн.ч.].​ Она много трудится и обычно получает много хороших отметок.
