Dear Ann, Thanks for your letter, sorry for not keeping in touch for so long, but I’m glad you’re OK. To be honest, this summer wasn’t as interesting as I expected. However, there were definitely pros and cons. To begin with, I made a lot of new friends and we spent a lot of time together. Also, I started interested in reading and learning English, as you see. I really wanted to catch up on learning this language. Moreover, I started chatting with people from other countries, it was an unforgettable experience for me. In addition, almost every evening we played board games and watched films with my family. To sum up, I can say that my summer was pretty mediocre, but I took it for granted, so I guess that it was an essential experience for me. Actually, I’ve got to go now. Write back soon.
