It is the language of politics and sport, science and computer technologies, business and internet communication. English is also one of five languages used in the United Nations Organization. The international ties between the countries are getting closer. I’m very happy that now we have an opportunity to participate in educational exchange programmes. We have a good chance to organize school trips to language courses in different foreign countries. If you want to know well English, you have to work hard. First of all it’s necessary to learn grammar to make correct sentences. To increase my vocabulary I should read books in English, watch films or programmes in the foreign language. While reading or watching something it is good to look up unknown words, expressions in the dictionary and write them out in a notebook. And I should try to speak as much as possible.
