1. My mother said: "You have hardly touched your food."

2. As Hugh and I came down the steps we nearly ran into my father.

3. I don't know what's the matter with him. He has been acting funny since you were away.

4 I had been sitting there for about ten minutes, pretending to read, when someone sat down at mу table.

5. He was sure that there wouldn't be a serious row when Hugh heard of it.

6. The actress stopped in front of their table, smiling widely. He stood up and took her hand. "Hello," he said, "We saw your show tonight. We thought you were very good indeed."

7. Before we had sat five minutes in the drawing-room, there was a heavy shuffle outside and the old man pushed open the door.

8. "I'll take you out every day," she promised.

I was very tired,as this school year was very difficult.I studied hard,attended lectures and study groups,prepared for exams.My summer is boring and monotonous,so I never could fully relax.But once on a warm summer morning mom comes into my room."We are going to rest on the sea",-she said.I was so surprised,that I began to immediately prepare for the trip.We hit the road the next morning.There we swam and sunbathed rode on water rides,visited reserves.Time passed quickly.We not only rested,but also gained positive emotions.
