Verbitsky Mikhail Mikhailovich — Ukrainian composer, choroideremia, swastikas, author of music of the national anthem"Sche not vmerla Ukraine". Born on 4 Mar 1815 in Nadsyannya in a family of Greek-Catholic priest. When the boy was 10 years old his father died. Over Michael and his younger brother Vladislav took custody of a distant relative – the Bishop of Przemysl, Ivan Snegursky, one of the prominent figures of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church. First, they together with his brother studied at the gymnasium and Lyceum.In 1837 he abandoned theology. Mikhail Verbitsky married, but marital happiness was short-lived.
