My Spring Holidays.
A week ago we had our spring holidays. I study very well so my teachers didn't give me any homework. As I didn't have anything special to do I decided to have a 'real rest' - to sleep a lot and to do nothing. The first day was over. It was too difficult to do nothing. Then I decided to spend my holiday with my friend.
The next day I phoned my friend Alina and invited her to go to the park. The weather was so fine! The sun was shining brightly, there wasn't any cloud in the sky. We returned home only in the evening.
The following days we also went to different places, such as cinema, theatre and others. Besides, I helped my Mum about the house and I had read some books.
My holidays were amazing. It seemed to me they were too short!
Это часть света, расположенная в западном полушарии. Ее омывают Атлантический и Тихий океаны. В нее входит два материка — Северная Америка и Южная Америка, которые соединяет Панамский перешеек. Коренные жители обоих материков — индейцы, но их в Америке осталось немного. Индейцы погибали во время вооруженных стычек, когда европейцы завоевывали и осваивали материк, от болезней, привезенных завоевателями, от жестокой эксплуатации.
Сегодняшние американцы — потомки завоевателей, переселенцев из Европы. Говорят они в основном на английском, французском, испанском и португальском языках.
