I am a pupil of the 7-th form, I study at school number 6. I would like to tell your about our school life.

I go to school five days a week. Our classes start at 8 o'clock a. m. and last till 3 o'clock p.m. So we have 6 or 7 lessons a day. We study many different subjects: Russian, English, literatures, history, geography, biology, physics,mathematics, programming and computer sciences.

Languages,physical сulture and history are my favourite subjects. I make good marks in these subjects.It begins on the 1st of September known as a Day of knowledge and finishes in May.
Each quarter is followed by holidays. Every pupil has a day-book where the teachers put down the marks, that pupil has earned at the class. During the classes pupils are to answer the teacher's questions, do some exercises, write sentences, count, read.
The pupils are often called to the blackboard. After every lesson the teachers give us home assignment. At the next lesson the teachers check them up. To do good at school one should make home assignments regularly, be active at the lessons and spend at least two-three hours every day studying.I like studying.

It’s the time when we get major knowledge on different subjects, certain skills and experience for living in the society. This year I’m going to finish my native school number 11 and it makes me a bit sad. However, while I’m still here, I’d like to tell you a little bit about this school. It is a three-storey building with light and spacious classrooms. There is a school playground and an athletic field outside the school. Apart from classrooms we have a library, a gym, a cloak-room, a dining-room, and a small assembly hall. The halls are full of useful posters and portraits of renowned people, among them writers, scientists, musicians and else. The headmaster’s office is situated on the ground floor, while the room for teachers is on the first floor. Our school works from Monday till Saturday. We have lessons from 8.30 am till 3 pm. The breaks between the lessons usually last from 5 to 15 minutes. During the longest break we go to dining-room. I get to meet with my friends from other forms there. We eat and chat together. My favourite subjects are English and PE. The classroom for English lessons is well-equipped. There is a good collection of foreign literature, a TV with DVD, a CD player and lots of headphones for us. The walls are decorated with British and American sights. When we have PE lessons our teacher takes us to the gym. We do lots of exercise there and sometimes we play team games. If the weather is warm, we can have the lesson outside. I think life would be boring without schools and it’s a pity that school years don’t last longer.Я провожу много времени в школе. Это место, как мой второй дом. Я думаю, что школьные годы – это одна из самых важных частей нашей жизни. Это время, когда мы получаем основные знания по различным предметам, определенные навыки и опыт для жизни в обществе. В этом году я оканчиваю свою родную школу № 11, и это меня немного расстраивает. Тем не менее, пока я еще здесь, я хотел бы рассказать вам немного об этой школе. Это трехэтажное здание со светлыми и просторными классами. За пределами школы есть игровая площадка и спортивное поле. Помимо кабинетов, у нас есть библиотека, спортзал, раздевалка, столовая, и небольшой актовый зал. В коридорах полно полезных плакатов и портретов известных людей, среди которых писатели, ученые, музыканты и т.д. Кабинет директора находится на первом этаже, а учительская – на втором этаже. Наша школа работает с понедельника по субботу. У нас уроки с 8.30 утра до 15.00. Перерывы между уроками обычно длятся от 5 до 15 минут. Во время самой длинной перемены мы идем в столовую. Мне удается там встретиться с моими друзьями из других классов. Мы вместе кушаем и общаемся. Моими любимыми предметами являются английский и физкультура. Кабинет по английскому языку хорошо оборудован. Там хорошая коллекция зарубежной литературы, телевизор с DVD, CD-проигрыватель и много наушников для нас. Стены украшены британскими и американскими достопримечательностями. Когда у нас урок физкультуры, наш учитель ведет нас в спортзал. Мы там делаем много упражнений, а иногда играем в командные игры. Если погода теплая, мы можем проводить урок на улице. Я думаю, что жизнь была бы скучной без школ, и жаль, что школьные годы не длятся дольше.
