Спортивное прозвище в НХЛ — «Бу́линская стена» (англ. Bulin Wall) по аналогии со знаменитой «Берлинской стеной» (англ. Berlin Wall). В российской спортивной журналистике встречается также перевод «Стена Булина» , что не отражает игру слов.

8 февраля 2010 года был задержан полицией штата Аризона за вождение автомобиля в состоянии алкогольного опьянения и превышение скорости — «Феррари» Хабибулина ехал со скоростью 70 миль в час на участке, где ограничение составляет 45 миль в час. В августе 2010 года суд штата признал хоккеиста виновным по всем пунктам обвинения, и приговорил его к 30 дням тюремного заключения .

8 Feb 2010 he was detained by police in Arizona for driving in an alcohol intoxication and speeding — "Ferrari" habibulina was driving at 70 mph in the area where the limit is 45 miles per hour. In August 2010, the state court recognized hockey player guilty on all charges and sentenced him to 30 days in jail .

БИОГРАФИЯ АЛЕКСАНДРА КЕРЖАКОВА Отец Саши Анатолий Рафаилович в юности играл в футбол за Дзержинскую команду второй лиги «Химик». Будущая звезда футбола стала первым ребенком в семье. Кроме Александра у родителей есть сын Михаил. Он пошел по стопам брата и теперь является вратарем. Первым тренером Кержакова стал родной отец. После мальчика взяли в петербургскую СДЮШОР «Зенит», а в 11-летнем возрасте, в порядке исключения, поселили в интернате. В школе «Зенит» Александра тренировал Сергей Романов. В 1996 году Александр Кержаков и его одноклассники из спортшколы получили билеты на переигровку за звание чемпиона России в Санкт-Петербурге. Тогда состязались московский «Спартак» и владикавказская «Алания». На матч подростки не пошли, а продали билеты около стадиона перед игрой. Как говорит Кержаков, вырученных денег хватило на пару хот-догов и еще на мелочь. Позже футболист рассказал журналистам, что чуть не продал билеты Уткину.
