In your last letter you asked me to write you about sports in my school. I do it with pleasure. Many pupils of our school go in for sports. They go to sports schools and sports sections. Many of them are very strong in athletics, gymnastics, boxing, football, volleyball and other kinds of sports. They always take part in our school sports competitions.

Last Monday we had competitions in football. The football players of our school and of school number 15 took part in the competitions. The football match took place at the school playground. The players of both teams played very well, but our sportsmen played better and won the game. Тhе score was 9 - 1  in favour of our team.

Max R., the pupil of the 6th form played best of all. He is the best football player in our school. He trains a lot every day. He goes to the sport school. Soon he will play better than Messi or Ronaldo. Max scored 7 goals in the game. We also had a good goalkeeper. It was Nikita K.

As for me I did not take part in the competitions because I am not very strong in football. My favourite kind of sports is athletics. I train for athletics not only at our physical education lessons, but also at the sport school. Our trainer Pavlo Mykolaiovych teaches us to run and to jump. I have already good results in running. I always take part in our school and town competitions in athletics.
