My favorite film is doctor who. It's an alien in human form. It is always a lot of companions travelling with him in time and space. More often than not with them that something happens. Destiny of this movie is: win the bad aliens whom you meet on the way. The main enemies of the doctor is far away. they started the war and destroyed the planet of the doctor.
