All of the water that is on the earth has always been here. It neither disappears from earth nor gets it's amount extended. This is possible because of the process water cycle. Water goes round and round all the time. First the sun evaporates great amount of water from the surfaces of oceans, seas, rivers and lakes. Then water turns into water vapour. At this stage water vapor rises into the air there it cools and forms water droplets. After that in the sky millions of these tiny droplets come together to form clouds. Finally when clouds get heavy enough they release their water as rain or snow. Better part of the water that falls on earth eventually flows down back to the seas and oceans. Where afterwards cycle starts again.
