Do not judge a book by its cover. If you do, then you will be missing out on the most extraordinary and amazing books. We should judge a book by its contents. Of course, a pretty cover is also nice, but if the content and the plot of the book is utterly boring and mundane, then it may as well be thrown into a fire.
