4)Patrick was born in the IV century in a controlled Rome Britain into a wealthy family . His father was a deacon , his grandfather - a priest of the Christian Church . Your real name Patrick - Mahon .
At age 16, he was kidnapped by pirates and taken into slavery in Ireland . The owner Mago decided to give the prisoner a new name and contemptuously called his young slave Patricius - « noble man , a patrician ."
During the years of slavery , Patrick found faith in God. Six years later, he finally decided to escape. He managed to get on the ship and get it in Gaul.
