What are the advantages and disadvantages of being educated at home instead of in a normal school ? ?

advantages:
You have plenty of time to work on every topic
You can discuss as long as you want the topics you don't understand with the teacher when she/he comes
Sometimes you can spend a day or two without learning lessons or doing homework

disadvantages:
The main disadvantage is the absence of communication with friends and other students and teachers
