William Shakespeare wrote his dramas for this theatre.It was the famouse "Globe".He also acted in the perfomances.In those days women were not allowed to work in theatres,all the parts of girls and women were acted by boys. 'Globe"was a high round building without any roof and people sat and stood around the stage.A flag was put up above the building to show that the play was going on.The plays took place only in day-time and never in winter.
