New Year's is the funniest and the most magical holiday of the year. I always wait for it, because this night something mysterious happens. My parents believe that New Year is a holiday home and try to make it merry and cozy. I help them to dress up a Christmas tree and decorate our house for New Year and Christmas. We hang balls and garland  in every room. By evening, my mother prepares holiday dinner and I try to help her. We do a lot of different and very tasty salads and cakes. Mom cooks our favorite duck with apples . In the evening we gather around the table in the large room , turn  onthe lights on the Christmas tree and wait for the arrival of the New Year. We drink delicious drinks and fun. We go to bed only in the morning and we're happy because Mom and Dad gave us what we were dreaming the whole year. On the first of January, my friends and I go to the city square and have fun under a huge Cristmas tree.
