For:
1). If you take such animals you take care about nature and love it.
2). You do your best for the animal to be happy.
3). You have a new free and nice friend or assistant.
Against accepting animals:
1). They as a rule are ill/sick or have fleas.
2). They need to be properly treated and taken care of, and you should go for a walk with some of them. It takes time and requires desire and love.
3). They will need to be trained to get used to the toilet. And you have to teach them not to be afraid of water (cats).
