Yalta — is a picturesque town on the southern coast of the Crimea I've always wanted to go there, because I read about this fascinating corner of Ukraine, and also, my mom often had a rest in Yalta and told me a lot about the incredible beauty of the local mountains and the beautiful endless sea. And now my dream has come true. This spring we went to Yalta.
We swam in the sea, basking in the sun, long walks along the waterfront, and then wandered even in the unknown parts of Yalta — just walked the streets where taken out. And went to the waterfall Uchan-su — the highest waterfall in Crimea, which supplies water to the Yalta. It's an incredible spectacle of water falling from a height and becomes a rapid mountain stream, which playfully runs down between the stones. By the way, we were lucky to see this waterfall in full glory, because in the summer it is usually dry.
The mountain air is fresh and clean smelling herbs and flowers, so very easy to breathe. Around there are many shady trees that delight the eye with their green canopy. I loved the mountains, did not even want to get out of there.
We also visited the Glade of fairy Tales, which contains statues of different fairy tale characters — Baba Yaga to Mowgli. And then visited Yalta zoo, which is nearby. This so-called "contact" zoo, where animals are like out there. There you can play with Tigranyan, to hand feed the antelope come right up to a tiger.
We've made a lot of pictures about our trip. The experience of it will stay with me forever.
