In my opinion cinema is more popular then theatre,because in cinema people can watch films,which are cult.And if you can discuss new part or "Spider man" with your friends teenagers,but you can't discuss new play from the theatre just because not all pleaces have a theatre and theatre more expensive than cinema.
But I can say that theatre more intellectual,you learn more and it need more time than cinema.
I could say that all of this need imagination but its isn't.
And sometimes cinema can be more entertaining because theatre have more rules.
And cinema have more audience than theatre.
Last week I went to Moscow. It was my dream to visit the Bolshoy theatre to see the ballet “Sleeping Beauty”. I have never been to theatre before and everything was very interesting for me. First I saw the theatre. It was so beautiful! Then we came in. The hall was also very beautiful. We took our sits. The ballet started. The Sleeping Beauty is a ballet first performed in 1890. The music was by Pyotr Tchaikovsky . I don’t remember the names of dancers but their dance was very charming. I liked the ballet very much. I advise everybody to visit Bolshoy theatre and see this grate ballet.
